Arizona has been willing to play the long game with two of their top recruiting targets in the high school ranks, and it just paid off as Koa Peat, the No. 8 overall prospect in the class, announced his verbal commitment to the Wildcats live on ESPN’s Pat McAfee Show.
Now, the Wildcats will look to punctuate the class with the second of those two targets, Brayden Burries. The No. 11-ranked player in the class is expected to make his decision in the very near future.
As it stands, the Wildcats now hold commitments from Peat, Dwayne Aristode, and Bryce James. While James is expected to be a development prospect, Aristode is the No. 31 ranked player in the 2025 class and, like Peat, expected to be able to make immediate contributions.
Below is a full scouting report on Peat and his fit diagnosis at Arizona.
