The Panthers selected WR Jimmy Horn Jr out of Colorado at 208th overall in the 6th round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Panthers rounded out a strong 2025 NFL Draft with another wide receiver, this time a speedster in Jimmy Horn Jr, who could add a downfield threat for the Carolina Panthers offense. With most of the Panthers receivers being more intermediate threats, someone who can make plays with the ball in his hands and can threaten down the field is a great compliment to the stew the Panthers are brewing in their wide receiver room.

I’d imagine Jimmy Horn Jr factors into the returner question more than anything right away, if he can stick on the roster he should be featured as a gunner on special teams. I think adding a guy with some gadget potential and to add a “take the top off the defense” element is smart this late in the Draft. We’ll see if he sticks around.
