The Real Reason Why ‘Chicago Med,’ ‘Chicago Fire’ and ‘Chicago P.D.’ Are Not on Tonight

The #OneChicago shows are leaving viewers hanging for another week as each of the series, which left off with a mini-cliffhanger, is being pre-empted tonight by the Opry 100: A Live Celebration special, hosted by Blake Shelton.

We will have to wait to see if Dr. Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell) will get to keep his job in the Chicago Gaffney ED, or if Sharon (S. Epatha Merkerson) will fire him on Chicago Med. On Chicago Fire, the aftermath of Dom Pascal’s (Dermot Mulroney) wife’s death and how he will spiral out from that is being postponed another week. And on Chcicago P.D., the beginning of Voight’s (Jason Beghe) campaign to take down (Shawn Hatosy) is on hiatus.
