The Weather Authority’s Impact Day continues due to the threat of flooding. A flood watch is up for the region until 7 this Sunday evening.
Flooding and flash flooding will be possible through much of Sunday as rain continues to come down across much of the area. Rainfall totals over the last 24 hours are nearing 2 inches in most communities. If you encounter flooding while on the roadway, turn around and don’t drown.
Showers will become more isolated in the afternoon, with temperatures warming only into the lower 70s today. It may be a little wet for any of those Sunday afternoon egg hunts.
