Thousands without power after severe weather passes through area

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Thousands were without power after severe weather passed through the area.

As of 3:30 a.m., Duke Energy’s outage map shows more than 20,000 customers were left without power after severe weather moved through the Tri-State area on Wednesday.

There are 584 active power outages, with 3,009 customers in Kentucky and 17,543 customers in Ohio without power.

A Duke Energy outage summary shows that repair and damage assessments are underway in multiple counties in NKY and Ohio.
