(WJW) – A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for the following counties until 4 a.m.: Ashland, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Erie, Holmes, Huron, Lorain, Medina, Richland and Wayne
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Lorain, Medina, Ottawa, Richland and Sandusky counties until 1:15 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued across Northeast Ohio until 7 a.m.
A Flood Watch for a large portion of the area has been issued and is in effect through Sunday, due to multiple rounds of rain and storms starting today.
Winds are increasing out of the south with gusts up to 40 MPH. It will stay windy through the night.
Temperatures are warming, in the mid to upper 60s by late afternoon.
The second round arrives overnight. A few storms could be severe, especially west of I-71 between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. Strongest storms will be in western Ohio, where the Storm Prediction Center has issued an ENHANCED RISK.
Thursday will be mostly dry north. A few showers across the southern half of the area. Nothing heavy or widespread. Expect a warm day with temps hovering around 70.
More rounds of rain are on the way! Friday starts off dry. A few showers late, then widespread, steady rain Saturday.
Steady rain Saturday into early Sunday. Drier breaks late Sunday, then scattered rain/snow mix late Monday/Tuesday.
Temperatures rise Wednesday and Thursday then colder this weekend and early next week.
