LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Severe weather is moving through Kentucky and southern Indiana bringing heavy rain, damaging winds, hail and possible tornadoes.
Portions of western Kentucky are under a high risk for severe weather while the rest of the state is under a moderate risk, including Louisville, or an enhanced risk.
Damaging winds, tornadoes and hail are all expected with this system.
Be prepared for the initial line of storms to arrive starting around 10 p.m. and lasting overnight.

- A Tornado Watch has been issued for Breckinridge, Bullitt, Franklin, Grayson, Green, Hardin, Hart, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Taylor, Trimble & Washington counties until 2 a.m. on Thursday.
- A Tornado Watch has been issued for Carroll County until 4 a.m. Thursday.
- A Flood Watch has been issued for Breckinridge, Meade, Grayson, Hardin, Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham, Trimble, Henry, Shelby, Spencer, Nelson, Washington, Larue, Marion, Green, Taylor and Adair counties from 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday morning.
- A Tornado Warning has been issued for Dubois, northern Orange and Perry Counties until 10:45 p.m.
- A Tornado Warning has been issued for Lawrence, southwestern Jackson Counties until 11 p.m.
- A Tornado Watch has been issued for Clark, Crawford, Dubois, Floyd, Harrison, Jefferson, Orange, Perry, Scott and Washington counties until 2 a.m. on Thursday.
- A Tornado Watch has been issued for Jackson and Jennings counties until 4 a.m. Thursday.
- A Tornado Watch has been issued for Lawrence County until 10 p.m. CDT.
- A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Vigo, Monroe, Morgan, Knox, Owen, Martin, Boone, Lawrence, Putnam, Daviess, Sullivan, Hendricks, Clay and Greene counties until 9:30 p.m.
- A Flood Watch has been issued in Indiana for Orange, Washington, Scott, Jefferson, Dubois, Crawford, Perry, Harrison, Floyd and Clark counties from 8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday morning.
