Tonight San Siro will be illuminated by the talent of Rafael Leao and Nico Paz, one who wears the No.10 and the other a No.10 in the conventional sense of the role.

As this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanPress) report, Milan-Como is also the challenge between the two stars of the two teams, and it is a duel that could be seen again on even bigger stages in the future.

The Argentine could in fact challenge the Portuguese winger in the Derby della Madonnina if Inter succeed in their attempt to secure him from Real Madrid in a complicated negotiation during the summer transfer window.

It is complicated because in Madrid they are watching him with great attention and would like to keep control of him, especially after a season in which he has racked up 10 goal contributions (six goals and four assists) in the league.

There could also be a chance to see the two against each other in Spain, because Leao is still a Barcelona obsession. A Milan derby or a Clasico at San Siro, Camp Nou or the Santiago Bernabeu: it will not be the last meeting between the two.

This evening, though, the aim for both will be to try and be the spark that powers their team to victory. Leao was the catalyst for the comeback in Lecce, while almost everything Cesc Fabregas’ side create passes through Paz.
