This is the UFC 314 live blog for Michael Chandler vs. Paddy Pimblett, the five-round, lightweight co-main event Saturday at Kaseya Center in Miami.

Chandler (23-9), currently No. 14 at 155 pounds in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, looks to become the first fighter to defeat Pimblett in the UFC. A three-time Bellator lightweight champion, Chandler has seen mixed results inside the octagon, with just two wins in six appearances. However, “Iron Mike” has endeared himself to fans with his non-stop action performances even in defeat.

For Pimblett (22-3), this is another opportunity to knock off a veteran of the game. The proud Scouser’s past two wins have come against MMA lifers King Green and Tony Ferguson, with the Green triumph being particularly impressive as Pimblett is the first fighter to submit Green since 2009. A top 10 ranking could be in the cars for Pimblett if he he improves his UFC record to 7-0 on Saturday.
