The UNCW Seahawks basketball team earned a No. 14 seed in the 2025 Men’s NCAA Tournament and will face No. 3 Texas Tech on Thursday in Wichita as part of the West Region.
The game is scheduled for approximately 10:10 p.m. and will be televised on TruTV.
The Seahawks (27-7) enter the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years after winning the Coastal Athletic Association tournament on Tuesday in Washington, D.C. The team has just one March Madness victory all time, stunning Southern California in 2002.
UNCW fans gathered at Trask Coliseum on Sunday to cheer on the team during the NCAA Tournament selection show.
