UPDATE: Arvest now states all systems are restored. They added to the statement that the downtime was due to an internal system issue and that “it was not related to a cyber incident or any unauthorized access to our systems.”
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas-based Arvest Bank announced late Friday morning that its mobile and online banking facilities are down.
According to a social media post by the company, corporate teams “identified an internal issue and temporarily disabled certain online functions while taking measures to correct it.”
The incident is not related to a cyberattack or unauthorized system access, officials said, adding that “customers are currently experiencing issues logging in to online and mobile banking.”
The bank statement further noted that nightly processing is also delayed due to this issue and that technical teams are working to resolve the issue.
