MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputies and fire rescue personnel responded to a shooting on Thursday in a warehouse area in the Glenvar Heights neighborhood.
Deputies surrounded Priced Right Motors, Inc., a used car dealer at 7321 SW 45 St. M-CSO helicopter was over the area, and a SWAT team, and Florida Highway Patrol troopers also responded.
Active call records show fire rescue dispatched 29 units. The response included a helicopter that was on standby at a nearby football field in Tropical Park.

According to deputies, as the scene was unfolding shortly before 1:30 p.m., there were several victims and the shooter was not in custody. By 2:10 p.m., a deputy said the shooter had been shot.
A deputy at the scene said there were at least four people shot, but a spokesperson for M-DCSO had yet to confirm this.

Deputies evacuated the warehouse east of Southwest 74 Avenue and 45 Street. A group of men sat on the grass as deputies stood guard.
The area is also home to Hitting .365, a batting cage center, the Lawnmowers R US store, and the All Purpose Training gym.
