WICHITA, Kan. — The Texas Tech basketball team begins its time in March Madness by taking on UNC Wilmington in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament tonight inside INTRUST Bank Arena.
The 3-seed Red Raiders enter tournament play winners in four of their last five games and sporting a 25-8 overall record, good enough for second place in the Big 12 Conference. The 14-seed Seahawks have won six straight, including all three Coastal Athletic Association tournament games to make their way to the dance with a 27-7 record.
Texas Tech is led by second-team all-American and Big 12 player and newcomer of the year JT Toppin while Donovan Newby will lead UNCW into battle.
