And just like that, we have arrived at a time-honored tradition in the “Bachelor” franchise: Fantasy suites.
Grant Ellis took his remaining three women, whittled down from a cast of 25, to the Dominican Republic, a country he has ties to. During his one-on-one with Juliana Pasquarosa, he revealed his grandmother is from the Dominican Republic.
What happened during the Fantasy Suites? Who went home? Find out below.
Who were in the Final 3 of ‘The Bachelor’?
Juliana Pasquarosa

Tears were shed on their one-on-one date — many. Juliana opened up about her past relationship and concluded that she thought Grant was an “amazing man.”
He seemed equally chuffed and said he was falling in love with her. “I’m so wrapped up in my feelings for this woman. I feel like she could be my wife,” she said.
The next morning, Grant said it “meant a lot to him” that she opened up. He also, in a rare move for “The Bachelor,” Grant ate and drank real food.
Zoe McGrady

Zoe and Grant essentially had their first one-on-one date of the season during this episode. It started with yoga done in complete silence — which both decided they weren’t fond of.
Grant explained why Zoe made it this far even though they hadn’t had much time together.
“Regardless of us not having a one-on-one date, I wanted to hear more about her. I wanted to see her family. I wanted to take that chance,” he said of Zoe. At her hometowns, Grant said he saw the “real Zoe.”
The two acknowledged their emotional distance and that, until now, they hadn’t had a chance to connect deeply. Grant proceeded to catch Zoe up on his life including the story of her father, who struggled with addiction.
They spent the night together.
Litia Garr

Heading into Fantasy Suites, Litia was worried because she didn’t want Grant to be intimate with other people. While ziplining with Grant, her stomach hurt from nerves (and maybe from heights).
The two had a conversation at dinner about his other relationships. When Grant asked Litia to go to the Fantasy Suite, she brought up intimacy.
“It’s hard for me now because there are still people here. I have to make decisions that will help me protect my feelings and my peace. Sex is not on the table,” she said.
Grant said he could see Litia as his wife and then — gasp! — said he loved her.
Litia was at ease. “I feel like you understand me. Those are things I have not had before,” she said. Then she told him she loved him.
They also had a conversation about where they would live after “Th Bachelor.” Litia said she would be happy to leave Utah. Grant said his father was in rehab in New Jersey and so he wanted to go back.
“We love each other so we’ll be able to work through whatever obstacles come our way,” he said.
He called Litia a “once in a lifetime woman” and said they’re “supposed to be together.”
Who went home at the end of the March 17 episode?
Grant reflected on a “really monumental” week but wanted to “go with his heart.”
He gave his first rose to Litia and his second to Juliana, meaning Zoe went home.
Grant walked a tearful Zoe out and explained that this was “really hard” for him. Zoe said she was “grateful” for her time with Grant. “I think we both put a lot into this,” she said.
Grant said, in a confessional, that he and Zoe “just weren’t” in a place to get married.
As for what’s next? “I’m torn and I don’t know what I’m going to do,” he said.
He told his family, in a preview for the next episode, that he’s feeling indecisive.
