Season 3 of Fire Country rolled the end credits, but the temperature continues to rise on the CBS action drama.

The flame-filled Friday night hit ended its season on April 25, with an action-packed two-hour finale, a first for the series.

“I direct the first hour of the the first part of the season finale, and we did some really incredible, kind of crazy action stunt sequences that I was really excited to film,” actor Max Thieriot told Good Housekeeping.

“It’s a really exciting episode, and we sort of tie up a lot of the storylines we’ve been invested in as fans this season,” he continued. “It wouldn’t be Fire Country if there wasn’t 1) some epic big fire, and 2) a pretty intense cliffhanger to bring us into season 4.”

The season 3 finale also saw Jake (Jordan Calloway) saying goodbye to his Station 42 family, as he accepted a position at a fire station in Mendocino, Calif. — but will his departure be permanent?

Here’s everything to know about Fire Country season 4 and the continuing adventures of the Cal Fire crew.
