The Winnipeg Jets (51-20-4) take on the Vegas Golden Knights (45-21-8) Thursday. Puck drop from T-Mobile Arena is set for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NHL odds around the Jets vs. Golden Knights odds and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.
Season series: Golden Knights lead 2-0 (1-0 at home, 1-0 on road)
The Jets began their current 3-game road trip with some turbulence as they fell 4-1 as +111 underdogs at the LA Kings Tuesday. C Cole Perfetti had his 17th goal of the season for the only tally. While the Jets are 7-3-0 in their last 10, the 3 losses have come in the last 7. They remain 4 points up on the Dallas Stars for the top spot in the Central Division.
Vegas fell 3-2 as -165 home favorites against the Edmonton Oilers Tuesday. LW Pavel Dorofeyev took over the team lead with his 32nd goal of the season. The loss snapped a 6-game win streak. VGK has a 5-point lead over LA in the Pacific Division as we come down the stretch.

Jets at Golden Knights projected goalies
Eric Comrie (8-9-1, 2.49 GAA, .909 SV%, 1 SO) vs. Adin Hill (29-12-5, 2.47 GAA, .908 SV%, 4 SO)
Comrie is expected to get the nod over Vezina front-runner G Connor Hellebuyck (43-11-3, 2.03 GAA, .924 SV%, 7 SO), according to reports. Comrie lost his last start 5-3 at home vs. the Buffalo Sabres March 23 when he allowed 4 goals on 16 shots. The defeat snapped a 2-game win streak for the 29-year-old backup. He lost 4-3 at Vegas earlier this season, yielding 4 goals on 30 shots Nov. 29. He is 0-2 in his career vs. Vegas with an ugly 5.15 GAA and a .846 SV%.
Hill took the loss Tuesday against Edmonton, stopping 17 of 20 shots. The defeat snapped a 5-game win streak for Hill, who went 8-1-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .927 SV% in March. Hill was in goal for both wins over Winnipeg this season, stopping 18 of 20 in one start and 22 of 25 in the other.

Jets at Golden Knights picks and predictions
Prediction
Jets 3, Golden Knights 2
Moneyline
This is a close one to handicap, but put on your Russell Wilson jersey and let’s ride. Vegas has won 9 consecutive meetings in the head-to-head series. Four of those came in the 2022-23 playoffs. Both meetings were competitive this season, ending within a goal in each, and overtime was required in the last one in December.
I really like the JETS (+125) to snap this string. Vegas is without C Tomas Hertl, who has 31 goals on the season, and D Alex Pietrangelo (4 goals, 28 assists). I’d like it better if Hellebuyck was starting, but I expect Comrie to have a solid outing in this one.
Puck line/Against the spread
BetMGM has an Any Sport No Sweat Token to use for this next opportunity.
Let’s go with KYLE CONNOR ANYTIME GOAL (+145).
Here’s why: Last game against Vegas Dec. 12: 0 points, 0 shots on goal, -2 rating, in 21 minutes TOI. He has just 1 goal against VGK over the last 2 seasons. He’s mindful of that, and he’s 10 points away from his first 100-point season. He’s going to come out firing.
Over/Under
VGK is 5-4-1 O/U in its last 10. The Knights have scored an average of 4.3 goals per game over their last 7. The Jets are 3-7 O/U in their last 10.
UNDER 5.5 (-115) is the way to go.
